About the artist: Cleonique Hilsaca is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist and educator from Honduras. She received a BFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art & Design and an MFA in Illustration & Visual Culture from Washington University in St. Louis. Her professional work can be found in comics, picture books, tabletop games, and galleries.
About the art: Artist Cleonique Hilsaca depicts this vision from a time when the leaves once again turn and fall away. Visitors from beyond the veil and distant lands unknown emerge upon the muddy banks of the Mississippi, summoned by the promise of the eldritch wares of Mr. Slice.
