Join us for Sundaze at Schlafly!

Join your pals from SLICE for a casual evening of drawing. Pop in for a few drawing games or stick around to chat about the craft of comics. SLICE will be hosting monthly Drink & Draws on the last Thursday of every month until September. Mark your calendars!

Coloring on the walls?! That's right, the Missouri History Museum is inviting STL community members to draw on the walls of their Coloring STL exhibit! Join SLICE as well make some artistic history!

Take a tour of Central Print in Old North St. Louis and learn how to use their printmaking and book binding machines! Attendees will sample several letterpress techniques on traditional presses, create multiples, and fold and bind a book with time-saving equipment. Limited space is available, so register today!

Pursuing comics as a career can be a daunting process as either an aspiring creator or the parent of one. The "Labor in Comics" panel on 9/13 at the Sheldon with Marie Enger aims to shed some light on the various aspects involved in making comics.

Come to Betty's Books 9/21 at 6:30pm to learn about The St. Louis Independent Comics Expo and how it runs! You'll be able to chat with SLICE committee members, board members, and volunteers about the expo and non-profit coordination. And if you're interested you can even sign up to be a member for the 2025 season. Refreshments provided.
