One of our local literary journals, River Styx, is holding their annual poetry contest! River Styx has tabled at the St. Louis Small Press Expo for many years and had been accepted to the 2020 Expo before we had to cancel the event. See more details on the contest below.

Win a $1,000 prize for your poetry! The 2020 River Styx International Poetry Contest awards $1,000 and publication for the best individual poem. Lee Ann Roripaugh is this year’s final judge. Pay your choice of contest entry fee: with $20 you receive a one-year subscription to River Styx, beginning with the prize-winner issue; with $15 you receive the prize-winner issue only. Submit up to three poems per entry; additional entries are permitted with additional entry fees.
